I have a Alpine IVA-W505 Hooked Up To A Kce-400BT With A Kwe-460E Cable For 2008 Head Units.

The Question I Have "Has anyone tried updating the Firmware for the KCE-400BT?"

According to Alpine you need a 2009 Head to do this.
A 2008 IVA-W505 won't work.
Did anyone firgure out a work-around?
I need to update the firmware to support my HTC Fuze phone.

I'm interested in this too. I have 502 head unit and 400BT.
I wonder if dealers have some sort of special equipment to do this. Otherwise, there should be a way to DIY.
