I have had my amp installed for about 2 years now, never had a problem with it apart from a dodgy fuse, and recently upgraded my battery terminals to fix connection issues.

But now, for no apparent reason, it will not power the subs in the car, well it does, but only in slave mode which is almost useless.

The amp is a Directed 2400d which when I bought it was one of the best amps for the money you could buy, especially with its power ratings.

Now I have had a similar problem before due to dodgy RCA leads, but this was with an old amp, has anyone go any advice to what it could be other than the RCA's...cos i dont wanna buy some good ones, bring them home, and find out its nopt the RCA's

If its a power issue its not going to be RCAs!!! Have you got a volt meter to see what voltage is getting to the amp and current.
