Soundstream reference vs rubicon

Evening everyone!

Im getting back into car systems, and noticed that soundstream where still going (always wanted a reference amp in the early 90's, but could'nt afford one), so ive been toying with the idea of getting either a 4 ch reference or rubicon. So my question is, is there a difference between the ref and rub?? chhers all.
