advice on buying 1st sat nav

Hi all,

Looking to buy a sat nav and have to say I don't much about them so looking for a bit of advice, it's only gonna be used for UK travel and will be handy for my job etc. I've had a quick search on Amazon and have seen that the TomTom ONE IQ Routes Edition & TomTom XL Classic both have good review but wondered what peoples opinions were. got a budget of about £130. (picked tomtom as my dad has a GO710 which seems to be pretty good.

Any advice would be much appreciated

Thanks

Thanks Lynx, I'll give that a look, also noticed that they have a GO530 for £119 should I go for that instead?

Thats plus vat, the 520 is inclusive.

You may find when you update it you get the functionality of the 530 anyway.

It comes with a latest maps guarantee.

Go via quidco for a further 4.5% discount. http://www.quidco.com/total-pda/

Does this come with EU maps? If not what's the best one with EU for the £120 budget?
