TomTom XL and Maps

I am planning to buy a TomTom XL Live IQ Europe.
It has a 2GB internal memory and come preloaded with the full European Map (42 Countries).

I also plan of buy (dowloading) separately the map of Brazil, since I travel there often.

Will I be able to load the additional map (brazil) on the internal memory?
Or do I have to remove first (backing it up) the whole European map, to make space for Brazil?

Re: TomTom XL and Maps

Unless that 2GB is free memory (which I'm 99.9% sure it isn't) then you cannot add any additional maps without deleting what you have on there first.

Only their GO range of satnavs allow you to add maps without needing to delete the current map.
