Hi Before leaving for California I bought the US (West) map and downloaded it to my laptop. I had not enough memory in the SD card so used a 2GB I had deleting all the files. I copied to files on the original Tom Tom 1 GB card to the PC and then copied the lot including the new US (West) file to the new SD card. All the files show on the SD card.
We are now in California and when I go the manage maps I try to switcch maps the US (West) map does not show.
Tried everything that I can think of
The version of firmware (?) is 6.52? (cant read last digit)

We pick up a hire car tomorrow -- anyone got any ideas??

I may have to navigate with my wife driving with the attendant posibilities of divorce.

Is the 6.3 the tomtoms firmware version or the map version if it's tomtom version it sounds to low you will prob need 7 just hook it up to tomtom software on pc/laptop.
