Garmin Nuvi 205 WT

Hi everyone, I'm new on here so please bear with me. I currently drive a Renault Kangoo, you know the one with the heat resisitant glass, my current sat nav, an ancient Sony will not work properly without the addition of an external antenna. I am thinking of investing in a Nuvi 205WT but can see no provision for connecting an external antenna or even if one is available for purchase. So my question is folks, does anyone have experience of using a Nuvi in a Kangoo and how it copes with the problem of hitching up with satellites or does the Nuvi have new and improved technology that counteracts the problem of the heat resisitant glass please. Have spoken to garmin and they claim it should work ok, which is hardly enough considering the outlay involved. Thanks in advance,

Ron.

Re: Garmin Nuvi 205 WT

Borrrow a friends Garmin and test it. Failing that, let the halfords salesman test it in your car outside the shop.
