Do you have a satnav?! On TomTom models you can display the satellite status screen and that will show your coordinates. Also available through the 'Help Me' screens I think. I am sure most makes have something similar.

If you just need to convert an address to map coordinates, try GPS Visualizer: Quick Geocoder

Re: Coordinates

Hi,
Thanks, yes I have sat nav, although my Daughter uses it more than me. I also have a Garmin E-Trex handheld unit, and a Sat Nav system for a PDA. The reason I need accurate coordinates is for use in aligning a telescope.

Re: Coordinates

The SatNav will be best but if you can zoom into this map accurately, it will give you co-ordinates at the bottom of the page.

Re: Coordinates

Hi,
Thanks very much for the information. I will set up my Sat Nav tomorrow and see what results I get with that. For the telescope, it does not need to be 100% accurate anyway.
