I have an old JVC Compact VHS camcorder (GR-AX800). I want to transfer my footage from one of my old casettes/tapes from the camcorder to the Pc.

The only connections/sockets for cables on the camcorder seems to be a socket for an edit cable and a socket for an RF DC Out with Audio and Video outlets.

I really have no idea how to do this. I dont want anything fansy. I just want to be able to view all my old casettes on Quicktime or some other software on the computer...

If someone can please help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I should add I have an Radeon X850 Pro graphics card in my computer.

Have you not got a DVD recorder .Easiest way to go then when on dvd easy to import to the pc

unfortunately not. What connections would I need if I could perhaps borrow one?

the Audio lead/s and a video lead depending on what inputs the Recorder has at most you might need a scart to phono adaptor none of these expensive
