Question HF10/HF100 batteries

Anyone bought a non-OEM BP-819 equivalent battery (or the smaller) and recommend a supplier?

See the larger ones go for around £24.99 with charger but have to watch since some are around 1400mAh whereas others are around 1780mAh, i.e. will last longer.

Anyone tried these out Buy CANON BP-819 Battery + Charger Combo : DC-battery : United Kingdom - are they a UK company? You can also buy the battery on its own from them which is good is you want to get a couple (i.e. don't need more than one charger).

Re: HF10/HF100 batteries

Ys, I bought one of these. The battery was suposed to last much longer than the standard Canon battery but I only get a little more juice and no more. Still worth saving a few pennies. The downside is that he cam does not show how much battery is left - just displays a question mar,
