Hi Guys,

My Sony TRV265E has been working fine for about 3 years.

I have used it today, recorded some footage, viewed it - all fine.

Got home tonight to watch the footage and noticed the screen has 4-5 horizontal grey bars and the sound is very choppy.

Tried an old tape that has previously been viewed, and this has the same fault.

I have searched with our old friend Google, and found quite a few instances where people have had this problem, but no solution has been posted.

Any ideas from camcorder expects?
