However, I would rather purchase it from Dixons (and am considering it). It is priced at £399 in Dixons, however use the following code to get 5% off:
FILM5
So, you should be able to get it for £378.99.

Re: Best HD Camcorder for £400?
The Panasonic HDC-SD100EBK was £390 at Currys, i have the HDC-SD9 and i think it's excellent, but it's not that great in low light, but this upgrade doesn't have that problem at all.

I think the HF100 was on offer a while back, with a cashback deal bringing it below £400, however, it seems to have been discontinued now and/or, only available for £500+.

At the time of writing Comet have the Sony TG3 on @ £399.00 with free delivery or collect in store
Cameras & Camcorders | Camcorders | Comet
I'm also sure that if you look around you may get a 5% discount or something similar

Re: Best HD Camcorder for £400?
recently got the hf100 from jessops who price matched currys for £449 and got a 3 year warranty thrown in, they also have an offer of half price lowepro bag when buying a camcorder. got a very nice lowepor edit for £10 which fits the hf100 perfectly
if you're lucky you can get ex display ones from the likes of currys for £350-400 but I think they've all gone now as the hf100 is now discontinued. the cheapest online as we speak is from amazon at £520 but very few places have any left.

Re: Best HD Camcorder for £400?
Just had a long drive up the m6 to the Wednedbury store just off junction 9, got the hf10, according to the staff it was the last one in the west midlands! And it was only £499! They had quite a few hf100's for £449! BARGAIN!
