I am tired of looking for a good cam.

Hi I am very tired of looking for a replacement to my HDC-SD9.
I want a good HD cam. With great indoor low light recording. Very little grain and crisp looking video. plus no ghosting. Snapshot will be up tonight.

I have looked at many cams heard good and bad things

I am thinking of getting a MiniDV HDV cam
Reasons
Because a 2 hour recording of AVCHD 24mbps them backed up to my computer would take 16gb.
I heard the AVCHD 24mbps and HDV are relatively the same quality.
For most things I would do I would record straight onto my computer. Passing tape. Most of the recordings would be at most 30 min long.
Plus most MiniDV cams have bigger censors than AVCHD (I heard it also gives better low light quality)

But for family events that take up 2 hours I would use tape and edit on the computer then burn to DVD. I can keep the tape in a clean box. And archive the file containing the edit.

The longest I would have the cam is about 2 years because by then something way better will be out.

Though I people think I must get AVCHD that I want some good reasons.

And Please I need a good recommendation for a Cam.

Specs I will accept:
30p
Censor 1/4
Specs I want:
60p
Audio in
Good Low light quailty
Censor 1/2.7 or Bigger
Sturdy feeling cam
Noiseless tape deck (I heard that some have noisy tape decks)

Price around $600
