Just ordered the Canon HF100 - Guides for editing footage

Just ordered the Canon HF100 and have a copy of Sony Vegas Pro 8. I've had a quick dabble with Sony Vegas but all this video editing is new to me.

Has anyone got any links to some useful guides/tutorials which will help me to learn the software? Don't want to do anything too fancy, just be able to edit footage, add music, maybe menus, burn to dvd and store on my popcorn hour

If you go to the Sony Vegas website, they have links to tutorials.

Actually, You tube has a large no of tutorials on Vegas
The Movie Studio version has a training DVD and " show me how" tutorials
