Problems Uploading Handycam Video To Photobucket

Just bought a Sony DCR-DVD650 camcorder. Took it to a ballgame and recorded on the mini-dvd. The result was 30 separate files. When I play it back on the camcorder or my pc, it's fine. All 30 files run concurrently in one smooth video. When I use the PMB software to upload to Photobucket, it uploads each separate file as a video. The result is 30 separate short videos rather than one nice long video. Can't I combine the files before uploading? Is there any way I can solve this problem without buying separate editing software? Thank you!

Re: Problems Uploading Handycam Video To Photobucket

You could play the footage to a settop DVD recorder , the resulting disc would be continuous
Otherwise its just do it on the PC in software nles there is some clever in-camera method
This "problem" also occurs in HDD and flash memory based camcorders . In deed wih tape capture , unless you specify capture without scene change detection, footage also gets captured as clips
This traditinally makes editing easier but a liitle annoying where editing is not desired
For uploading to a web site, I suspect there is no getting past doing it on the PC as one single file. This is relatively simple in most software though
