What is the best "crossover" for HDvideo/photo?

Which is the best "crossover" camera? (And has the best quality/cost ratio)

- Sanyo HD2000

The TG7 is a bit new
Sanyo is probably "best " if you want a camcorder that will do both
The TG3 is better known for video and its small form factor
The Samsung HMX r10 is not yet launched
So
2 of the camcorders are yet to be on general release and the other 2 you have some idea

Perhaps in a short while the Samsung and Sony TG7 will be reviewed for stills ability but in truth most " "cross over" ( as you call them) devices tend to be better at one thing or another but not both
Those which try to be great at both tend to be average at both ..

IMHO
