Panasonic SDR H90

Hi all,

Does anyone have this camcorder yet? The spec seems very good but would appreciate any personal knowledge.

Also, when a camcorder records to a hard drive, is the transfer to a computer simply drag and drop ie avoiding the bind of having to play a tape in real time?

I know it is not an HD camcorder but that is not so important to me as yet.

Hi docnaz, I'm in a similar predicament n hoping for some advice.

Which is a better camcorder in terms of image quality and features- Sony DCR SR57/67(US model) or Panasonic SDR H90?

Panasonic boasts of AOIS, Intelligent mode and face detection while Sony featues 5.1 Dolby and about 10 filming modes (as in manual). Both have standard formats and 80Gb HDD. I realised Sonys are made in China while Panasonic in Japan.

Im not really looking for HD camcorders as yet as they are more expensive and need bigger computer RAM. Can some one advice me? Thanks.
