Unhappy Sony HDR-SR11E Memory stick 101 prob

Hi all new here but i wonder if anybody can shed any light on my problem ?
I have just bought the SR11E and a sony MS-MT8G MK11 8GB memory stick the camara flashes a error msg 101 and beeps then says memory stick not able to record or playback image correctly ?? Ive tryed other memory cards still the same msg and even went back to the shop and tryed another camara still the same .
sony say they have never come across it.
Any help please thankyou

All it says on my card is memory stick pro

if yours says the same and you have tried other cards there must be a problem with the cam.ps it is in the right way isnt it [just joking]

Hi thanks for looking my card say memory stick pro duo magicgate mk11
but ive also tried other cards and another sr11e strange thanks?
Here is something ive found in the book page 105 it says that this product does not support magicgate technology ?
i thought they all said magicgate?

|I think it's because even Sony grudgingly acknowledge that if you record video from the cam on to a stick, you probably own the copyright to the material so they are unable to make use of their technology to prevent you copying your own material.
So your camera does not add DRM to the clips, even though the capability is built in to their evil proprietary sticks

Hi all just thought i would let you know that ive at last sorted the problem .
The memory card i have been using was a fake also the ones i borrowed and tried even though they work in psp etc this cam chucks a wobbler. The firm have just sent me a replacement mem card it works superb now .
Strange carry on . There must be thousands of these fake cards about i tried a least 5 cards from friends and they where all fake just my luck cheers .
