High Definiton Helmet Camera?

Hey people!

I'm looking to get a helmet camera for a point of view recording, but in HD. I know theres a few action cameras out but none of them are able to record video at the resolutions required for HD viewing. I will be recording airsoft and other sports activites with it so indoor and outdoor performace is needed.

Does anyone know of such a thing? I would want to mount it to the side of goggles or, shock horror, a helmet.

Would I need to get a DVR too? or are there any cameras with one built in?

Price doesn't really matter because I'm considering everything thats available or perhaps coming out in the near future.

Thanks!

Anyone?

I have heard the Tachyon XC can emulate HD if you use a class 6 card and upscale it. How would I go about doing that? All I have is windows movie maker so I guess that wont really cut it

Re: High Definiton Helmet Camera?

Just looking at some of my HD footage last night from my Sony TG3 (which I think is fantastic btw), and it did seem to me that HD is more susceptable to blur and movement than SD.

I'm wondering therefore whether you'd need to dampen the camera somehow in order to get something really plesent to see?

Dos this make sense?

Cheers

Jez
