Unhappy Canon HG20 - Troubleshooting

Anybody experienced any problems with the sound becoming internittent and the losing it alltogeter and with a failure either in the power pack or camcorder (the camcorder fails to charge and hence one cannot download the videos one has taken.)

If so please assist as i only got this camcorder a few days ago after researching the web extensively and believe i a the first to have problems with the Canon HG20.

That's too bad - but can't you connect the AC adpater and download? At least that will allow you to recover your clips . . .

The problem is that their is no power going to the camcorder from the AC adapter. I believe the sound issues hve been resolved, its now getting power to the camcorder which is the main issue!

If it's only 3 days old, it's effectively a DoA, get your supplier to sort it out.
