Is it okay to use offbracnd batteries in My Sony TVR38?

I found this site that has offbrand versions of Sony's batteries for like 2/3 the price. I was just wondering if they are fine to use or if people have some problems with them compared to the Sony branded Lithium Ions.

They should be fine to use.

I haven't used anything but official ones with my camcorder (yet), but do with my cameras all the time and have no problems at all.

I use Hahnel batteries with my XM2 and have not experienced any problems at all. If you are in the UK try these: www.jemmailorder.co.uk
