Red face Help with a Wedding video problem. :(

Recently got married in a Tiger reserve in India. It was a reasonable temperature late 20's early 30's I'd say. My friends took a load of video with my Sony hd-sr7 camcorder. I took the video in 1080i like I usually do.

Some of the video is really great but the critical stuff, the actual ceremony for instance, looks like it has a heat haze

I've attached a really short low quality sample...but you can see my problem from this

Anyone seem this before and more importantly is there any way I can reduce the wobble some how? Even if I can't get it perfect just improving it would be a great relief.

I have mac & pc. Final cut Express, imovie etc.

Looks like the sensor freaked out for some reason.

Re: Help with a Wedding video problem. :(

Thanks for the replies.

Yes, the video of the reception is fine. No settings changes in-between. I have some short video taken before that looks ok. It also happened the next day when we were on safari.

Yes. Problem is definitely with the camcorder/file. I can see the problem on the little camcorder screen when playing back and also tv via camcorder.

Any ideas how I could edit the video to patch it up?

Re: Help with a Wedding video problem. :(

I hate to say it, but I don't think there's a fix for this . . .
