Hi,

I've been tasked with finding a camcorder which:

• Has a microphone jack
• Has a Hard Drive/records straight to DVDs
• Doesn't record video and audio seperately
• Is between £400-£600

I have no idea about camcorders so would be extremely grateful if someone could recommend some to me.

Canon HF100? It doesn't have a hard drive, but records to removable memory cards.

Better than recording to DVDs
All camcorders tend to record audio and video together . In software these are separated for creative editing purposes and it is not at all a disadvantage
Mic in camcorders are not very common these days especially at the pocket friendly range, and non tape
