Hello. If anybody can help me with this, it would be much appreciated:

I have a Sony AV1 DV Camera and want to send the video signal being recorded to a Plasma TV in another room (live, ideally with no/minimal delay)

I thought about using a (very) long cable, but this will look unsightly. I'd like to use something like a wireless sender (like you'd use to send TV/Sky to different rooms) but they all seem to be based on SCART in/out.

My Camcorder has the usual Sony connectors such as Composite, iLink/Firewire etc so I need the transmitter to accept one of these formats. The receiver could be SCART/AV as the Plasma TV has multiple connections. Something via a LAN would also work (maybe connecting the Camera to a laptop/pc via firewire and then streaming it via the LAN to another PC which is connected to the Plasma?)

I think this item from Maplin would do the trick (S-Video Wireless Video Sender Kit > Maplin) but it's out of stock and I need to find something VERY fast.

You could use the composite output of the cam with a phono to scart convertor to connect to the video sender, these are very cheap to buy
