Editing program with multi-core support?

Is there a program out yet with true multi-core support that i can use to edit my m2ts files from my Sony TG3.

Last i tried was ulead but when dealing with files it never maxed out the CPU which was disappointing.

To be honest i only really want the ability to reliably stitch m2ts files together to get rid of the gaps. Then burn the single file to dvd.

I very rarely delve deeper and start cutting stuff up.

Thanks,

Oh and by the way, i did try tssplitter a few months ago and it does join files but it broke them for playback within sonys picture motion browser and caused issues. Ulead joins them but not as quick as it should. 60% CPU usage etc.

Re: Editing program with multi-core support?

11.5 certainly makes use of all 4 cores on my Q6600. Of course, you wouldn't really expect it to max out on smart renders since the processor is not doing that much work and the processes are probably more I/O bound. I can't really tell how much max cpu is used on each core since I render from files I keep on a NAS so the system has to spend time pulling the files down during a render.
