help a newcomer

hi guys i cant search the forum because i dont know what you call my problem, so here gos ive just brought a samsung vp mx20 which when i watch the video ive done using the av leads into the tv the picture is great, but when i use sony vegas platiunum suite 9 to edit and upload to you tube. when its on you tube, all quick movement on the video the edges seem to break up, whys this and can anyone tell me where im going wrong, because it makes the video look crap, thanks in advance

It's called interlacing. For video destined for the web, you need to deinterlace the finished video. Vegas will have a deinterlacing option in the export / output menus somewhere.
