Mini DV

A friend had a Sony MiniDV which got damaged and now the insurance company has asked him which camcorder he wants. He wants a MiniDV one as you can just keep the tapes and do not have to convert to a dvd straight away as he does not have the time to edit them.

Please can any one suggest a decent minidv camcorder under £900, which are still available.

Thank you
