Todays replacement of the 1st sony vx2000

In 2001 I bought one of the first VX2000 camcorders for over £2k when it was the top sony consumer model.
It has unforunatly had a nasty accident and is going to be replaced by my insurers who I believe want to give me another VX2000.
This product is not what it was 10 years ago and worth conciderably less..
What is todays equivalent of the VX2000, or what is sony's top consumer model today..am confused!!

the vx 2000 was a prosumer not consumer cam realy, todays equivalent would be the FX-1000 or for a little less cost a FX-7 if you can get hold of one.

I'm selling my VX2000 if you're interested.

Not sure what it's worth though.

Something around 75% the price of a PD150 maybe?
