Mic good for Skype but not video voiceover
Hi - can anybody please advise? I successfully use a cheap Maplin mic for Skype - it's fine ~ 30cm from mouth with 'normal' voice.
However, if I use it to record voiceover during video editing I have to hold mic ~5cm from mouth to record reasonable volume. Why, and what can I do to improve mic performance – do I need a different type of mic?
