Canon hV30 - New laptop help required please

Good day
I have recently bought a Canon HV30 and am now in the market for a good laptop so that I can start editing.
The laptop I now have is pants and is not powerful enough.
I think i will be using vegas 9 (professional) as my mate recently bought a copy for a couple of hundred and wont be using it (although I am open to any other suggestions regarding editing software).
Can someone please kindly point me in the right direction for a new laptop that at least if nto more than meets the minumum specs for vegas and I would like a blu ray writer included. I suppose my budget is about £800 but any cheaper and that would be great.
Many thanks for any help you guys can give me,

kind regards

Sean
