Another 'Confused about AVCHD Files' thread
I've read for so many hours and still I can't find anything definitive about AVCHD files.
I have a Panasonic HS9 and want to cut up AVCHD files on a PC. I know I can use TsRemux to snip the m2ts files (and fine and quick it is too). I want something similar with a visual interface so i can select a start and end point in a file and make a new file without recoding, yet maintaining the 1080p and 5.1 sound. Anyone know of anything? I have Nero 9 and understand that it doesn't recode to 1080p and 5.1 if the source file is already that format, in which case I can easily and quickly make a nicely edited version of my cam movies and keep the nice quality. Any opinions welcome as I'm so confused.
