Question Can I get a reasonable DV Camera for £120

Hi there

My current Digital Camera has about had it and was thinking about getting a DV Camcorder/Camera in the next few months.

I'm on a budget, so don't want to spend a fortune (£120 max).

I've found some cheap and cheerful ones on Ebay, but are they any good.

The SVP HDDV-2600 for example?

No, can't say it's a brand I've ever heard of before. Just wondered if these cheap n cheerful brands plastered on Ebay were actually any good. Usually I prefer to go for branded electricals, but I'm not that fussed in this case, as long as it does the job.

I would be fussed. you can get decent branded ones for not much more.. and not from ebay too
As an aside, there are even some brands I would give a miss if I had a choice
Whilst MiniDV is of age and quality at pocket friendly level is fairly well sorted, you might be paying decent money for rubbish if you dont remain wary
Poor low light ability, tinny audio and washed out colours are a few of the cheap and not cheerful things you might get ..
