Microphone for use with commentaries?

Does anyone know of a suitable microphone, and shop where i could buy it, for use when doing commentaries during editiing. I think it will have to plug into the soundcard?

I've got a cheap microphone which plugs straight in to my sound card. They are selling them on ebay for £1.00 !!!
Go to the home page and type in microphone !!!
Hope this is what you are looking for.

I've got a Vivanco (EM 216) clip on sterio mic that has a small sterio jack plug on it. That would fit into a soundcard.
Can't remember exactly how much I paid for it, but it was around £50 and will be a much higher quality mic than a cheap PC mic.

You should also consider a Shure SM58, for around £70. I have one of these and although it's considered a "budget" mic in audio circles, it is designed primarily for vocal use. It is a tried and tested design, and very well respected - it's also used by many professional singers for live performances.
