Pinnacle Studio 10 Audio Problem

Hi there, I have been having a problem with audio in the edit mode of Studio 10 (It is not the plus version, only the standard 10.5). I currently have a Soundblaster PCI card that works perfectly with all other programs. It even plays back the recorded video in Pinnacle's MediaManager! But when I put the video footage into the edit mode, I cannot get any sound at all! I have tried installing the patches, and upgrades to version 10.8, without any success.

What is really frustrating is that I know it has worked before, as I edited a file about 2 years ago. Since then I have upgraded my video card and replaced my original C drive with a larger one. So whatever settings I originally had, have somehow been lost in the process.

I have tried to ask the Pinnacle help team for advice but they claim they no longer support version 10 anymore!

If anyone can shed some light on how to get the program to play the audio in edit mode I would be very grateful.
