MT2S File

My camcorder records its videos in this format but i'm finding it hard to edit it. Is there any software where i can convert it, or what could i use to edit my videos?

This wiki page has a list of software that edit avchd. As far I am aware MT2S is the file extention for avchd so if it can edit avchd it can edit MT2S.
