Uploading You Tube mpeg's

I have uploaded a few clips on you tube of myself busking in covent garden.

If you go to you tube and then type : CoventGardenSinger, you will see a few clips that I done with Cyberlink powerdirector 5.
I don't have a firewire port on my computor so what I did was buy this sofware from maplins : DVD Maker USB 2.0 and what I did was recorded my footage onto my DVD recorder which does have a firewire connection from my cam. Then from the back of my DVD recorder I used the white red and yellow output and conected it thru the dvd maker usb 2.0 to my usb on my computor.

The picture quality is'nt brilliant as the place I was playing was in the evening and the light in that market hall is quite dim. But I did use this LEd floodlight from maplins which i brought for £20.00 .

What I find fasinating from you tube is that they give you the choice to either watch it in normal definition or high quality and I find that the HQ does give a bit of improvement in the sound and picture, I don't know how they do this but its cool.

Re: Uploading You Tube mpeg's

I am no computor wizzard but I think its fasinating how even in cyber powerdirector 5 the audio recording section . I have been able to record from my DVD and adjust the recording volume without clipping and get a nice clean sound and then put the tracks on to a CD for my walkman.

I am finding out there is so much options in the digital world you can discover and different things you can do.
