Urgent Sony IP7 Info/Software
Dixon's have a really good deal this weekend for the IP7 at £719, is this a good buy as I have read reports that say it's terrible for using on your computer, you can't make DVD's etc. Is this still the case or is there any other options now?

I hope you didn't buy it!

I have an IP7 and it's a wonder of modern technology, but the MMV format is a bugger to use. The (Sony) supplied editing software is rubbish and the few other packages that have added support are buggy beyond belief.

Stick to Mini/DV my friend.
