JVC gr-ax900 repair

I have a JVC camcorder that the view finder does not work. I opened it up to find that the ribbon cable is torn. Where-o-where can I get a new one? Certainly I'm not the first one this has happened to.

Connect distribution are the appointed supplier for people who don't have a direct account with JVC. They are on 0870 600 0271. They have the Service Manuals so should be able to identify the part number.
