Sorry to be picky but it probably depends what you want to use it for
I have the Panasonic (only about I month) and I'm very pleased so far
I only use it for filming the garden and dogs! Hope to use it abroad in Oct so I just want it for basic things really
It is very easy to use and understand for a complete novice like me. The instruction book is clear and when I email their customer service I get a clear helful answer within 1 to 2 days (which is more than I can say for Nero!)
There doesn't seem to be motor noise and played back thro' the TV the film looks great
It has more features than I need and the use of Menu is easy. It also has the DV in so you can get your edited film back to the cam.if you want
Hope all that helps
Jo
