Help Canon HG20 video output and editing

I have the Canon HG20 and have filmed and transferred the footage to my PC, however the output format seems to be an .esp or .eps file ... the video plays fine on the PC but if I try to burn this to disc then I just get "blank / unreadable disc" when trying to play it back on the PC or DVD player.

Is anyone familular with the software that comes with the HG20 called Imagemixer 3 and can help me get this video into a format that it will play back on my TV having edited it and burned it to disc.

All help much appeciated.

Simon

All current software is compatible
What differs is harware specification, GUI and how you get on with them
Thay all have a learning curve some, steeper than others
As suggested Pinnacle Studio 12 is very easy to use and well featured but it can be temperemental on some systems
