Panasonic NV-R30 camcordeer

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me what format the Panasonic NV-R30 was please. This camera came on to the market in 1994 and was, I believe, analogue. I understand that it may have been Hi8 but am not certain of this. If it was Hi8 would it be compatible with an old Sony DCR-TRV310 Digital 8 camcorder. Your help much appreciated.
