Vixia HF11 strange sound?

Vixia HF11 strange sound?
Hi, I'm new to camcorders and I just bought a Canon Vixia HF11 and I noticed a strange sound coming from it when it is turned off. If I rotate it in my hands the sound is coming from the front, from the lens I think. Is it normal?
