| New Member | Canon DV XM1 not found by Windows
I have a Canon XM1 which I am trying to use with a Toshiba P300-161, connecting via firewire (small connectors). The OS is Vista Home Premium. The camera is not detected, although its screen shows DV IN when both connectors are in place. I have tried to detect it also using Windows Movie Maker and Serif MoviePlus 5. The camera and cable are sound, as I can transfer to a Panasonic DVD recorder with no problems. I've also tried the Scanners and Cameras wizard. Any ideas, anyone? Derekc |
