Canon HF 100 or Panasonic HDC-S100 ?

Today the Panny is £ 538 and the Canon is £478 on Amazon. For the moment ignoring the £60 difference, has anyone been comparing these two lately and actually bought one ? I just can't make up my mind between the two

Re: Canon HF 100 or Panasonic HDC-S100 ?

Without wishing to confuse you further, the currys.co.uk website currently has the HS100 for £600 plus a current 10% discount code gives you £540 so if you decided on the Panny it would obviously worth going for this (HS100 has the 60GB hard drive as well as card). Just wanted to let you know.

Trouble is, the HF100 is actually 428 via amazon once you get the £50 cashback.

Both the HF100 and the SD100 have been reviewed at SimplyDV: Camcorder Reviews, News and Information - probably worth taking a look there as I haven't heard of anyone here trying out both.

Sorry, I meant the Panasonic HDC-SD100. The non hard disk version.
