Question Are there any suitable miniDV camcorders that a bullet cam can connect to via AV in?

On the market for a miniDV camcorder or any camcorder that has a suitable AV in connection for a bullet cam for on-bike use. I have been seaching high and low and they're like rocking horse poo! There must be a camcorder out there that is compatable? Any assistance to find such a camcorder would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Are there any suitable miniDV camcorders that a bullet cam can connect to via AV

The Canon HV30 (or older HV20) HDV camcorders have AV-in. these will play your old miniDV recordings and still record the HDV footage to the cheap miniDV tapes.
Current miniDV models are few and far between and don't have the whistles and bells they had in the older models. They tend to just be cheap & basic models and therefore everybody is being pushed into HD models for any more features.

Mark.
