panasonic cashback offer

hi all, i went into currys today and bought a panasonic HS9 camcorder, when i asked for a cashback form to claim my £50.00 and 3year warranty, they said they didnt have any (or remember having any) they went online and printed me a copy of the form, they said for me to fill it in and send it off, im worried that panasonic wont honour it, as its not the origional form, only a printed version.

what do you guys think, will another currys branch give me one if i take the receipt to show i bought the camcorder?

Re: panasonic cashback offer

As long as it's the official form and you comply with the T&Cs, I see no problem.

Re: panasonic cashback offer

Rang pansonic as as I thought, they won't accept it. Where can I get one from now I've bought the camcorder?

Re: panasonic cashback offer

You could try Jess*ps. Last time Panasonic ran this promotion, I picked up a form at one of their stores.

From the terms and conditions linked below:
Quote:
3. To redeem your £50 Cashback and FREE 3 Year Warranty, please complete and return the form (form only available instore, photocopies not accepted), including a COPY of your full purchase receipt (not deposit receipt), by 31st January 2009 (unfortunately, receipt copies cannot be returned so please retain your original). Claims received after 31st January 2009 will not be accepted.
Overlooking the fact that a printed copy is not actually a photocopy, as well as the fact that "instore" is not actually a word in English, I think this means what it looks like it means: only the real deal will do.

Andrew.
