HD Camcorder - for extreme sports

Hello,

I recently bought a new camcorder, a Sanyo VPC-HD700. Tested it out, and it worked good. But still haven't test it on what i really wanted to test it on.

ON MY SPORT

I do a sport called "Tricking", as u can see on the videolink below. But what i was wondering, is my VPC-HD700 good enough to capture the speed of sports in general?

Besides that, i continued research for camcorders and i saw the VPC-HD1000 which was pretty attractive! Does anyone have soms experiences with these camera's? Or can anybody give me a good tip as concerning camcorders?

I look forward to some replies!

Thanks,

Please watch if u want to take my question(s) seriously!

Re: HD Camcorder - for extreme sports

Not sure about the Sanyo. I'm getting a samsung hmx20 for xmas thought which should work really well for tricks.

My best advice is to go out and do some filming. Most cameras nowadays will film at speeds needed for tricking. with many offering 60frames per second.

Hell before for the UK Devon gathering we had a premiere night where everyone took unreleased footage, mine was filmed using my LG viewty phone and still came out ok

But yeah my advice is to just go out and film!

I see, i was thinking about the 60frames thing to! That would be nice, even for a little bit slowmotion.

Btw, u are a tricker to?
