The proper writting speed for a Memory Stick Pro Duo for a HD camera use

I want to buy a Sony CX11 camcorder, which shoots in AVCHD up to 16 mbs. Can I use a Memory Stick with a low writting speed like 4 or 6 mb/s? There is any advantage if I'll buy a high writting speed MS Pro Duo (32 mb/s writting speed) to use with this camcorder I mentioned?
