Capture Card?

im going to get a Capture Card from "santa" lol,
and i need help on what one is and where to get one.
i think ive found some but im not sure?

depending on from what you are going to capture and if you intend to ultimately put it on dvd why not get a dvd recorder and stick it on dvd then you can get it on th e pc no hassle
