Unhappy Panasonic GS11EB

I have recently upgraded from windows xp to vistar and can no longer get the software or drivers to work ,after speaking to panasonic they advised me to purchase new software ,which i did on there recomendation (Motion DV STUDIO 5.6LE) But alas to no avail as the drivers and the dv studio are not recognised by vistar ,after going on the panasonic site i noticed that there was an upgrade for this paticular software ,but as i could not install the original disc this was of no use to me, If anybody has any ideas of what i may be able to do i would be most grateful ,or it looks like that i may have to buy a new camcorder and it wont be a panasonic..

Re: Panasonic GS11EB

Is it the Panasonic NV-GS11 ??
I have owned one of these for a number of years and have never needed nor used any Panasonic software .I just use a Firewire card and capture using Pinnacle 9 , which makes a perfect capture .

If , of course , you dont mean the NV-GS11 ,please disregard the above and hand me the gun !
